Private Strategic Advisory for accomplished women building something of their own.

You are not starting from zero. You are starting from experience.

Some of the most interesting businesses aren't built at 25.

They're built after years of accumulating experience, judgment, relationships and resources — across a career, a family business, or an entirely different chapter — when someone recognises an opportunity and decides it is time to build something of her own.

What we work on

Whether you're testing an idea you've carried for years, turning deep expertise into a business, or have already started building, I help you answer three questions:

What are you building?
Clarify and pressure-test the opportunity, customer and problem — and why you're particularly well positioned to solve it.

How does it become a business?
Shape the proposition, commercial model and route to customers, revenue and proof.

What matters next?
Decide where your time, capital and energy will have the greatest impact — and build a focused plan around it.

Who this is for

This is for accomplished women who know they have something more to build.

You might be turning years of expertise into a business of your own. You may have an idea you’ve been carrying alongside an established career. You may be moving out of a family business, returning to entrepreneurship, or simply reaching the point where the opportunity and timing feel right.

You bring experience, judgment, relationships and a track record. What you need isn't another entrepreneurship framework. You need the space, challenge and strategic partnership to turn what you already know into something commercially valuable.

Why do I do this

I know what it means to build a new chapter.

I started building Sotera at 40, after almost two decades running my family's vineyard and winery in Napa Valley and a career that had taken me through archaeology and cultural heritage.

Building a technology company in an entirely new industry taught me something important: I wasn't starting from zero.

Everything that came before became part of what I needed to build what came next.

That idea sits at the heart of my advisory work.

Ready to build what comes next?

I work privately with a small number of women at a time. If you're considering building something of your own — or have already begun — I'd be delighted to hear what you're working on.

Tell me a little about where you are and what you want to build, and we'll explore whether the advisory is the right fit.
